The properties of the product shown under typical value column are mean values from quality control figures and the properties under specification column are guaranteed values of the product.

RAW MATERIAL BASE : This is the essential raw material conferring particular properties to the mixture.

MAXIMUM SERVICE TEMPERATURE : The temperature is based on the product being heated in a clean atmosphere. Heating under mechanical load, or the presence of corrosive dust, certain gases will cause the maximum service temperature to alter.

NOMINAL SIZE : These are the normally available sizes and can be supplied ex-stock. However, other sizes within the range 3 mm to 50 mm can also be supplied on request.

CHEMICAL ANALYSIS : Carried out according to IS 1527 - 1972

BULK DENSITY : This is the packed bulk density. Bulk density is the weight of material required to fill a 1 litre container.

COLD COMPRESSION STRENGTH (POINT LOAD) : This is determined by the pressure required to crush the balls, when load is applied on a ball by Universal Testing Machine.

PYROMETRIC CONE EQUIVALENT : The test is done as per IS 1528 (PART-1) - 1980.

PACKING : In 200 litre capacity steel drums

DELIVERY STATE : Dry
